Ava Lòpez –  A personified triple threat of Puerto-Rican and Cuban descent. She’s a very passionate person with a no bullshit personality. She was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at 7 years old, and her doctors told her she would never be able to dance. Instead of listening to them she remained persistent and prove them wrong. She lands the lead of a hit musical television show but soon realizes the Hollywood life isn’t for her.
Jessica Reed – A loud goofball of Dominican and English descent who has the voice of a Latina Beyoncé. She’s very insecure when it comes to being a performer especially because she has faced an unreasonable amount of rejection in her career. She uses her comedy as a defense mechanism, and battles depression on a day-to-day basis.
Julian D’Marco – A rugged musician who has a big heart. In high school he jokingly auditioned for the spring musical and wound up getting cast in a lead role. He had plans to CalArts to study music but got his girlfriend pregnant and gave up his dream so she could pursue hers. He falls into the wrong crowd while living in New York and begins a career as a drug dealer. He winds up reevaluating his life when he almost loses it.
